MYCo - Meet Your Colleague

MYCo Meet Your Colleague is an Erasmus+ funded collaboration project between six partners across five countries – Ireland, Germany, Italy, Poland and Portugal.

2024-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000247623

This project has been funded by the European Union.

Project Partners:

  • Diciannove Societa Cooperative (Italy)
  • Ballyhoura Development CLG (Ireland)
  • CWEP (Poland)
  • LABC srl (Italy)
  • E&D Knowledge Consulting (Portugal)
  • Assist – International HR (Germany)

About The Project:

“MYCo – Meet Your Colleague” is a 24-month Erasmus+ funded project that will create training tools in the field of Diversity and Inclusion and aims to promote empathy and understanding across generations in the workplace.

Using age as a starting point, the project will conduct transnational research on generational inclusion across five areas:

  1. Communication between generations
  2. Differences in approach to work
  3. Digital inequality
  4. Generational diversity from an intercultural point of view
  5. Generational diversity from an intersectional perspective

Project Outcomes:

The project will produce two tools in the area of Diversity and Inclusion, which will be tested and implemented in the five partner countries.

  1. Digital Handbook on Generational Diversity and Inclusion
    • Desk research and a survey conducted in each of the five partner countries will form the basis of the “Handbook on Generational Inclusion and Diversity”.
    • The handbook will be searchable and customisable to meet the specific the specific needs of each organisation.
  2. MYCo Meet Your Colleague Game
    • The MYCo Game is a unique tool to help break stereotypes and encourage deeper understanding of differing perspectives among your colleagues.
    • Participants will be invited to create an avatar of their colleagues, based on generational stereotypes.
    • The game involves identifying similarities and differences between the stereotype and the real person, revealing unique personalities beyond pre-conceived ideas based on generational traits.
