Dr. Jane Halloran is a professional genealogist based in Tulla, County Clare, and founder of Dalcassian Origins, a family history research service. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. Jane has many years’ experience in commissioned genealogical and local history research, including consultations, house histories, and specific genealogy reports.

She earned an M.A. in Local History from the University of Limerick in 2017, and more recently completed a PhD at Mary Immaculate College and the University of Limerick. Her thesis explored emigration and network patterns among a group from County Clare who settled in Connecticut.
