As part of the Libraries for Literacy project, this video from Kilmallock Library highlights how libraries create welcoming spaces where learning, connection and opportunity can thrive. From supporting literacy and lifelong learning to fostering community connection, libraries play a vital role in everyday life. Libraries for Literacy is about strengthening communities through access, inclusion and learning. 

The Libraries for Literacy project, funded by Solas through the Collaboration and Innovation Fund, is a collaboration between Ballyhoura Development, Cork Education and Training Board, Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, Cork Libraries, Limerick Libraries, Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS), and Fighting Words.
