On October 14th, the Building Bridges Steering Group gathered at Friars Gate Theatre to officially launch the report for the Building Bridges – Community Drama Project.

The event marked a significant milestone in the project’s journey, celebrating its success and the meaningful impact it has had within the community.

A Powerful Creative Expression

A highlight of the launch was the screening of “Inner Dialogue” — a powerful and deeply moving animation that transcends traditional storytelling. Raw, emotional, and thought-provoking, Inner Dialogue opens an honest conversation around mental health and the influence of our inner thoughts.

It stands as a tribute to those who bravely share their truth and foster connection through vulnerability.

Collaboration and Support

The Building Bridges Project was delivered in partnership between Ballyhoura Development, Friars Gate Theatre, and TASC, with funding from the Creative Youth Nurture Fund.

Additional support was provided by the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), Limerick Arts Office, the Limerick Children and Young People’s Services Committee (CYPSC), and the “As Darragh Did” Fund.

We invite you to explore the full project report and watch “Inner Dialogue” — a piece that continues to inspire, connect, and spark meaningful conversations across our communities.
