Traveller Cultural Awareness Training

This workshop is designed for workers from key services and community-based organisations who work with the Traveller community.

This workshop will actively support organisations and staff to raise their level of Traveller awareness, examining how services are currently provided, and identifying ways to remove any barriers that may exist for Travellers trying to access or use services. 

This workshop is been offered by Ballyhoura Development in collaboration with TUSLA and Cork Traveller Culture TCAT, a Cork based, Traveller led organisation that facilitates community development and orientated training. 

Why Should You Attend?

TCAT workshops actively support organisations and staff to raise their level of Traveller awareness, to look at how services are currently provided and to support them to remove any barriers that may exist for Travellers trying to access or use services. An important part of the training is building relationships with key services who are providing important front-line services to the Traveller community.

TCAT training will support you and your organisation to work more effectively with members of the Traveller community.

The workshop is for service providers and individuals working in an organisational setting only!
