A craft and storytelling workshop as part of the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival.

The Kilmallock Traveller Women’s Group, supported by Ballyhoura Development CLG, are hosting a special evening of craft and storytelling.

This engaging session offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Hear stories from local Traveller women about their culture and traditions
  • Learn the traditional skill of crepe flower making
  • Connect with community, heritage, and creativity

Crepe flower making is a craft that has been passed down through generations of Traveller women, and this workshop celebrates its cultural importance and role in community life.
