Are you ready to take on the trails?

As part of the Ballyhoura Mountain Biking Community Project, Ballyhoura Development is introducing a Mountain Biking Taster Session for Women on December 8th. Whether you’ve always been curious about mountain biking or you’re looking for a fun, new way to get outdoors, this half-day session is your perfect opportunity to give it a try.

This initiative is designed to encourage women and diverse community groups to engage with the sport of mountain biking. After the taster session, you’ll also have the option to sign up for a four-week program in early 2025, where you can continue building your skills and confidence on the trails.

We’re offering two sessions on the day to suit your schedule:

  • Morning session: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Afternoon session: 1 PM - 3 PM

Why Join?

  • Try something new and exciting.
  • Get outdoors, enjoy nature, and get active.
  • Build your skills with professional instructors.
  • Join a community of supportive people.

All sessions are facilitated by professional and experienced instructors who are passionate about mountain biking and community engagement. Participants will learn essential mountain biking skills in a safe and supportive environment.
